Superintendent - Northern Michigan

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee our job sites in Northern Michigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires close collaboration with our Project Managers to effectively serve as the intermediary between the on-site team and the project management office.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites in Northern Michigan.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor project timelines and budgets, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
Communicate regularly with Project Managers to report on project progress and any potential challenges.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control.
Resolve on-site issues and conflicts efficiently.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Supervisor in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel to various job sites in Northern Michigan.
